The Yves Saint Laurent Museum unveils a new exhibition dedicated to the couturier's love for flowers

Journal du Luxe

From September 20, 2024 to May 4, 2025, the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris invites tourists and enthusiasts to dive into the designer's flowery universe. A new exhibition that mixes silhouettes, textiles, accessories and drawings.

Flowers have punctuated Yves Saint Laurent's life. In his sketches, on his prints, in the scenography of his fashion shows but also in the heart of his gardens, they represent an infinite source of inspiration for the couturier. A theme that the Yves Saint Laurent Paris museum wanted to highlight this year. This Friday, September 20, he inaugurates the exhibition Les Fleurs d'Yves Saint Laurent, curated by Olivier Saillard and Gaƫl Mamine. This is actually the second part of an exhibition that has already begun at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech, which will end on January 5, 2025.

The Parisian tour has been imagined in several chapters, to discover the designer's adored flowers: "from Christian Dior's fetish lily of the valley, to the anagram lily of his initials, through the roses of love, the bougainvillea of Morocco or the lucky wheat", details the press release.
