Louis Vuitton re-launches its iconic Noughties Murakami collection

Harper's Bazaar

It's been two decades since the renowned artist-designer collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Takashi Murakami, a collection that blended the Japanese artist's expressive and playful motifs with LV's signature monogram branding.

In news that will delight fashion collectors, the two are once again teaming up for 2025, with the French fashion house and artist partnering on an extensive re-edition of the original collection.

The launch will see Murakami infuse his inimitable style into more than 200 Louis Vuitton pieces, including the iconic Monogram Multicolore — featured substantially in the original collection — printed onto the house's most sought-after City Bags, from the Speedy 25 to its OnTheGo tote. Alternative designs in the collaboration will also extend across Louis Vuitton's range of small leather goods, accessories, travel luggage and shoes, with the option of designs featuring on a black or white background.
