Oscar-winning actor Julianne Moore, music producer Jack Antonoff, artist/poet Barbara Chase-Riboud, ’70s icon Lauren Hutton (she famously carried an Intrecciato clutch in the 1980 film American Gigolo), film director Dario Argento, musician Neneh Cherry, creative director – and Kendrick Lamar’s sidekick – Dave Free, fashion designer Edward Buchanan (who was the design director of Bottega Veneta between 1995 and 2000), and revered British novelist and essayist Zadie Smith. These are just some of the talent who can be seen in Craft is Our Language, a new Bottega Veneta campaign that celebrates the 50th anniversary – and enduring cultural resonance – of its iconic leather weave, intrecciato.
